OUR CLINIC’S HUMAN RESOURCES POLICY

1. CORE PRINCIPLES AND APPROACH

  • Our clinic’s HR policy is based on a people-oriented, ethical, fair, and continuously improving management approach.
  • To provide the best oral and dental health services, we aim to maintain our employees’ motivation, competence, and commitment to the clinic at the highest level.

Core Values:

  • Patient Safety and Satisfaction: The ultimate goal of all HR processes is to ensure patient safety and maximize satisfaction.
  • Fairness and Equality: Equal opportunities are offered to all employees and candidates regardless of religion, language, race, gender, marital status, political view, or disability.
  • Ethics and Transparency: Full compliance with the ethical principles of the Turkish Medical Association and Turkish Dental Association, as well as transparency in all HR practices, is essential.
  • Team Spirit: While maintaining professional hierarchy, all staff (dentists, assistants, technicians, administrative staff) are encouraged to foster a collaborative team culture.

2. RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT POLICY

  • Qualified Workforce: During recruitment, priority is given to candidates who possess the required professional knowledge, skills, and competencies, and who align with the clinic’s values.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Applications are assessed through objective criteria, including pre-screening, HR interviews, and interviews with relevant department managers. For technical positions, professional qualifications and references are carefully reviewed.
  • Employment Type: Depending on the need and position, full-time or part-time contracts are established. In part-time arrangements, legal working hours and TDB (Turkish Dental Association) regulations apply.
  • Professional Registration and Licenses: All dentists and healthcare personnel must be registered with the relevant professional chambers and possess the necessary legal permits/licenses for their positions.

3. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY

  • Continuous Professional Development: To stay updated on scientific advancements, new technologies, and treatment methods in dentistry and oral health, both internal and external training opportunities are regularly provided to all staff (dentists, nurses, assistants).
  • Orientation Program: All new employees undergo a comprehensive orientation program covering clinic operations, quality policy, patient safety procedures, hygiene standards, and occupational health and safety. In addition, a General Orientation is given on the first day, followed by a Departmental Orientation during the first two-month probation period.
  • Communication and Behavioral Skills Training: Regular training is provided according to the annual plan to enhance communication with patients, problem-solving, patient privacy, and crisis management skills.

4. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS POLICY

  • Fair and Competitive Compensation: The compensation policy is built on fairness, considering industry standards, employee competence, education, and performance.
  • Minimum Wage Assurance: Particularly for dentist positions, it is essential that payment is not made below the minimum fee set by the Turkish Dental Association.
  • Performance-Based Pay: A transparent and objective bonus or incentive system based on measurable annual performance and contribution to success is implemented.
  • Social Benefits: All legal rights (leave, overtime, weekly rest, social security, etc.) are fully provided. When needed, additional benefits such as private health insurance or meal/transport support may be offered.

5. PERFORMANCE AND CAREER MANAGEMENT

  • Performance Evaluation: Transparent and objective performance evaluations are conducted at least once a year, considering patient feedback, professional development, and contribution to teamwork.
  • Feedback Culture: Managers regularly provide constructive feedback to support employees’ personal and professional development.
  • Career Planning: High-performing employees with development potential are offered promotion and specialization opportunities to help achieve their career goals.

6. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

  • Safe Work Environment: Full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation is ensured, creating a safe and hygienic workplace for all employees.
  • Risk Management: Risks specific to the clinical environment (biological waste, radiation, sharps, etc.) are identified, and necessary protective measures, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) training, are implemented.
  • Employee Protection: All legal obligations are fulfilled to safeguard employees’ physical and psychological well-being.

7. DISCIPLINARY AND COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT

  • Compliance: All employees are expected to adhere to the clinic’s internal regulations, professional ethics, and legal requirements.
  • Disciplinary Procedure: In disciplinary cases, a fair, transparent, and documented process is applied.
  • Open Communication and Complaint Management: A safe and confidential mechanism is established for employees to report workplace concerns or complaints, which are handled fairly and promptly.
